Snake Day Festival

Join us every August for the annual Snake Day Festival! Come see native and non-native reptiles and amphibians and learn why they are so important to our ecosystem. Experts are always on hand to answer your questions. Get the chance to touch some of the animals, like our 11ft. Albino Burmese Python named Marigold!

Halloween Hayride

 Join us Saturday, October 22 for the annual Halloween Hayride and Family Festival. Ride a REAL hay wagon past the haunted canoe rides to the log lodge.  There you will find arts and crafts, games & activities, a haunted house, yummy treats for sale and a bonfire.  Dress in your 'nature' best for the costume contest @ 6:45pm.  Don't be late!!  Nearly 50 Cochran Mill Nature Center volunteers are ready to see that you have a great time from 5:00-9:00pm. Volunteer Appreciation Dinner 

Our annual Volunteer Appreciation Dinner is held every January to recognize all of those who so graciously supported the Nature Center by their volunteer efforts. The Center continues to operate due to the many acts of kindness that we receive from our volunteers throughout the year. The Center would not be here without the generosity of a great number of people. Thank You!
