Note:

• Programs are limited to a 65 mile radius of Palmetto, GA. A travel fee of $0.55 per mile (roundtrip) will be added for locations 40-65 miles from Cochran Mill Nature Center
• Programs are available year round, Mondays through Saturdays

 Festival Programs

Festival setting are the perfect chance for Cochran Mill Nature Cener to show a number of live reptiles along with an informational booth. Choose from a number of reptiles to wow! your audience.  Using bio-facts and live animal encounters, our naturalists will inform festival goers about the special characteristics of reptiles, many living right in their own backyards! Attendees will learn the difference between venomous and non-venomous snakes and what to do if you see a reptile in the wild. This booth is sure to be a favorite at your festival! 

Festival fees: $200 for the first hour/$100 each additional hour

  Elementary Programs

      Elementary programs are designed for Pre-K through 5th grade. Choose from a variety of topics or let us know what you're studying and we can tailor a program for you. With a maximum of 30 students per class, our instructors will engage your class with a 45-minute program and animal encounter.   

 Fees:  $150 for the first program, $75 each additional program 

  Middle & High School Programs

  Middle and High School programs are designed for 6th through 12th grades. Choose from a variety of topics or let us know what you're studying and we can tailor a program for you. With a maximum of 30 students per class, our instructors will engage your class with a 45-minute program and animal encounter. 

 Fees:  $160 for the first program, $80 each additional program
