Cochran Mill Nature Center is located just 20 minutes south of Atlanta in Palmetto, Georgia. The Center is a private, non-profit, environmental education facility & is home to a large collection of non-releasable reptiles and birds of prey. The Center's log structure is located on fifty privately-owned, heavily-wooded acres with a fish and turtle pond. Whether hiking, visiting our animals, participating in a field trip, celebrating with a birthday party or relaxing by the pond, Cochran Mill Nature Center has something for you.
Visit us today! The Center is open Monday through Saturday 9am-3pm. Admission is $3 per adult and $2 per child (3-12 years).
