Why an adoption program? Cochran Mill Nature Center maintains a sizeable collection of resident education animals as well as transient animals undergoing rehabilitation.  Care and feeding can often be a daunting and expensive undertaking. As a non-profit educational and rehab facility, we rely heavily upon the generosity and kindness of corporate and private supporters.  Donations from these sources help cover a large portion of the expenses as well as adding and upgrading their exhibits and rehab enclosures. Our goal is to provide our resident wildlife ambasadors with the best care possible and it is with the help of our generous supporters that we can make this goal a reality. 
 

Adoptions include:

• Personalized certificate of adoption
• Color photo of your chosen animal
• Informative animal fact sheet  with pertinent information about their new adoptee.
• Personalized donor placard at the enclosure
